More Vigilance from Motorists Required Warn Guide Dogs

Guide Dogs for the Blind have joined forces with the Cleveland police in asking motorists to be more considerate when parking their cars. More and more people are blocking footpaths in the area, causing the disabled and those with eye sight difficulties onto the road to try and continue their journeys.

Amazing Tiger and Human Relationship at Aspinall Park

Check out this amazing picture of the touching bond between a keeper and a hand raised tiger cub at the Aspinall Foundation’s Howlett’s park near Canterbury. The one year old female tiger called Arina, has become really attached to her keepers at the park, and their incredible bond appears to be blossoming.

Rare Black Footed Kittens Born at Aspinall Park

Awesome news coming through from the Aspinall Foundation’s Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, where two black footed kittens have just been born. The park, near Ashford in Kent, are pleased to now house these two little bundles of fun, who also happen to be one of the rarest cats in the world!

New Investment For Aspinall Foundation Wild Animal Parks

This latest development will not see the parks closing down though, and both will be open as usual whilst the refurbishments take place throughout the year.

Disaster could be about to sweep Europe’s farmlands, after a deal was brokered that undermines those farmers who try to allow nature to nurture on their land. The RSPB are now calling on E.U. government officials to take a closer look at what they have agreed upon with the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), as it could push many species to the brink of extinction.

Western Lowland Gorilla

Gorilla Family Flown Back to Africa with Aspinall Foundation

Nine critically endangered western lowland gorillas have been flown back to Gabon in Africa through the Aspinall Foundation, and their partners DHL. These amazing animals were flown from the Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Kent all the way to The Batéké Plateau National Park, the charities flagship African conservation project.
