Check Out This Bear Attack On A Hunter

07th June 2017 UNDER Blog

A hunter in the Canadian woods is lucky to be alive following an attack by a black bear. The hunter, Richard Wesley was bow hunting close to Ontario’s Fire River when he saw a black bear strolling around quite close to him. Initially the bear did not seem to bothered by the presence of Mr Wesley, but when he makes a noise in an attempt to scare of the approaching bear, the bear decides to charge.

Walked away unscathed

Mr Wesley seeks to make as much noise as possible and even goes so far as to punch the bear right in the face. At that point, the camera falls and we can’t tell what is happening, fortunately just a few seconds later the hunter returns. Rather unsurprisingly Wesley appears to be visibly shaken by his near-death experience. Wesley looks into the camera and says he “should have shot at the bear a long time ago”. Fortunately, he walked away from the experience almost unscathed.
