Udopt Launches Tiger Monday Campaign
Cyber Monday falls on the first Monday after Thanksgiving weekend in the United States, and this year it falls on Monday 2nd December. To raise awareness about the plight of wild tigers Udopt is launching its own Tiger Monday.
What is Tiger Monday? Well simply put, the weekend after Thanksgiving is a huge few days for shoppers. Usually The first Monday after Thanksgiving weekend is called Cyber Monday. Udopt hopes some of that massive consumer interest in getting the best deals on Cyber Monday which is popular in the UK can also be converted into gaining some much needed support for the critically endangered tiger.
As a result we are launching our own version which we have dubbed Tiger Monday. Hopefully, shoppers will be willing to spend just £3.00 a month adopting a wild tiger whilst they are spending in their billions on their holiday shopping. After all an animal adoption is a really cheap way to do some real good for the regal tiger which has being hunted to near extinction in the wild.
About Cyber Monday
Everybody knows the Friday after Thanksgiving is the official start of the Christmas shopping season. Retailers are not content with just one weekend to attract shoppers to their stores and have dubbed the first Monday Cyber Monday as well. Like With Black Friday there are huge discounts on offer on Cyber Monday and whilst Black Friday is mainly in the store, Cyber Monday is where you will find the best deals available online. The term was coined by Shop.org which found that internet traffic and sales spiked the first day most people returned to work after the holiday weekend in the United States. What’s strange about Cyber Monday is most people tend to order from their offices rather than from their homes and no one knows why. Some say it’s because shoppers are aware that retailers extend their Black Friday in store discounts online, whatever the reason, Cyber Monday is popular all over the world and there are deals to be had even in the UK.
