Check Out This Adorable Video Of A Baby Bunny And A Labrador
Now here is a cute clip with a lovely back story. The video shows Meg an 11-year-old Labrador playing with a baby bunny that was named Little John Stamos by Meg’s owner David Jackson. It is incredibly adorable to see Meg and the baby bunny bump noses and horse around in Mr. Jackson’s yard in the Ottawa Valley, Canada. The video is sure to warm your heart, but if for some reason it’s not enough, then when you hear the reason why Meg was watching the bunny, you can be sure your heart will melt.
“I heard cries coming from the yard and saw a little something stumbling about. When Meg and I approached, I saw a mother rabbit run away.” Mr. Jackson said.
Protecting the bunny
What mama bunny left behind was an itty bitty baby. There were two ravens circling nearby and because Mr. Jackson had been raised near the woods he was acutely aware the birds represented a threat. In light of that threat he decided he would hang around and watch the baby bunny with Meg at least until the ravens left.
Baby reunited with its mum
Whilst they waited, Meg and the baby bunny started to play and Mr. Jackson recorded the touching moment and uploaded the video to the internet. After the ravens left the scene, Mr. Jackson hid the baby under a stump where it could be easily found by his mother. Mr. Jackson says the baby bunny has since been spotted by his mother’s side.
