Wrestlers Lose To Lion Cub In Hilarious Tug Of War Video

This hilarious video was shot at the San Antonio Zoo in Texas and shows three massive WWE wrestlers trying to take on a young lion in a furious game of tug of war. The crowd cheers the three wrestlers as they do their best to beat the young lion. The wrestlers can be seen pulling hard on the rope which fed through into the lion enclosure. On the other side of the glass you can see the young lion holding on to the rope with an iron clad grip refusing to budge even an inch despite the best efforts of the wrestlers.

Everyone was amused

The crowd gathered to watch the spectacle can be seen trying to capture the moment on their smartphones whilst zoo staff watch clearly amused. The camera then pans back to the defeated wrestlers who appear to be completely deflated. The three men perform professionally on World Wrestling Entertainment world. One of the zoo staff members can be heard saying “Just let us know when you are ready to tap out!”

Celebrating expansion

The zoo posted to video and added asked how many superstar wrestlers does it take to beat a 2 ½ year old lion cub in a tug of war? The rhetorical question was answered with “apparently more than 3!” Crowd members later posted on social media saying how much they enjoyed the show. The tug of war was installed as part of a huge expansion of the Big Cat Valley exhibit at the zoo which houses African lions and Sumatran tigers costing millions of dollars.
