About the RSPB
The RSPB were founded way back in 1889 to protest against bird feathers being used in clothing. They are now the UK’s largest bird charity and count well over a million members and 160,000 youth members. Their aims are to protect birds and their habitat throughout the country.
The RSPB holds a passionate belief that each and every person has a responsibility to protect birds and their environment.
Due to climate change, agricultural intensification and the expansion of urban areas into natural habitats, the RSPB is always seeking the support of donations so they can continue to advocate for the ongoing diversity of the UK’s bird population.
