Animal Shelter YouTube Video Goes Viral

Furkids Animals Rescue which is based in Atlanta wanted to advertise the fact that it had a ton of cats which are adoptable. The shelter however did not have a huge budget to work with but did manage to post its homemade “kitty Kommercial” on YouTube and the video quickly went viral after Reddit users took notice and helped the video log nearly 1.2 million views.

The ad is actually a satire of a used-car commercial with a guy in a cheap suit going through all the reasons why you should adopt a cat from Furkids. Once you have watched the ad you will probably want to adopt all the available cats.

“You don’t like tails? No problem! Get a cat without one!” our salesman enthuses. “All of our cats are self-cleaning and cleaning and cleaning and cleaning…” And if you’re not into cats, that’s OK. The shelter has dogs, too.
