You never know when you are going to make a new friend. Brian Powers found this out when he was out hunting in Wisconsin. Instead of finding something to shoot at he noticed a deer near a creek. What was surprising was that instead of running away, the deer was friendly and approached Mr Powers looking for its head to be scratched. The deer also had an orange scarf tied around its neck.
Someone was pretty smart
The scarf was probably put there to deter hunters from shooting at the friendly animal. Hunters and hikers usually wear orange colours to warn other hunters they are not targets so they are not accidentally shot. Mr Powers told a local television channel that whilst the deer lives in the wild, it is not afraid of humans and is very friendly. Someone must have been wise enough to place an orange scarf around his neck to ensure he stays protected.
