Watch This Video Of A Man Narrowly Escaping A Shark Attack
Kerry Daniel was taking a break spearfishing with his friends near the Great Barrier Reef of the coast of Queensland Australia when he suddenly found himself eyeball to eyeball with a bull shark that was about to attack. Mr Daniel said he had swum away from the group and could see the bull shark swimming below him. He sought to escape by swimming away from it, but the shark turned and charged at him.
Very little time to react
Daniel was able to capture the scary encounter and shared it on social media. He obviously had very little time to react so he pointed his spear-gun at the attacking shark which had its mouth open as if to take a bite of either himself or the spear-gun. In an instant which probably saved his life Daniel plunged the spear into the mouth of the bull shark who immediately began to writhe.
“He ripped the gun out of my hand, ripped the line off too,” Daniel told the Daily Mail Australia. “I didn’t realize the gun was stuck in his mouth so I was waiting for him to spit it out but then thought it wasn’t worth it and swum away.”
Daniel does not know what happened to the shark in the end.
