Our Cheetah Says…
Although I’m the fastest animal on the planet, the one thing I can’t outrun is the possibility of sliding into extinction. Humans try and hunt us for our fur, but I it looks a lot better on me! Humans are also quickly destroying the place I call home, making it more and more difficult for us to live. I like to appear on television documentaries and show off to all the other animals that I am still the undisputed fastest runner on the planet, but if I’m extinct all that will be available is old footage and nobody wants to see that.
Adopt a cheetah and receive
- FREE entry to an Aspinall Foundation Park to see some amazing animals.
- An e-gift pack that contains a computer desktop wallpaper, animal facts, an adoption certificate as well as a monthly e-newsletter.
- Twice yearly updates on how your animal is doing and the work the Aspinall Foundation are providing to help their fight for survival.
udopt'r choice
The cheetah is a relatively shy creature that only generally meets during the mating season. They are the fastest animals on the planet, and are also amazing at climbing. They are slim and muscular and love to laze around in the shade. That’s when they’re not racing around at 70 miles per hour chasing their dinner!
udopt it because
- Up 75% of all cheetah cubs die before they reach the age of 3 months.
- Cheetahs have become extinct in many areas of the planet due to an ever shrinking habitat.
- There is a choice of 4 different types of adoption to suit the amount your wish to give, making this a gift that can be given more easily than others.
- Receive FREE entry to an Aspinall Foundation Park.
- Adoption programmes start from as little as £3.50 a month.

Did you know?
- The name cheetah comes from an Indian word meaning ‘spotted one’.
- Many early civilizations trained cheetahs for hunting (don’t try this at home folks!)
- They can run at speeds of up to an amazing 70 miles per hour!
- Even though they can run fast, they can’t run for long, as they begin to overheat after 100 metres (at those speeds I’m not surprised!)
