Our Puffin Says…

Well hello there, I’m a little puffin, and I am in need of your help. You see, because of oil spills and other marine disasters, my numbers are dwindling to really low levels. We’re only small, and only lay one egg a year so it’s very difficult to get our numbers higher, and if things carry on the way they are we could become endangered, and even extinct. Please sponsor me through the RSPB and help this amazing charity help me and my friends out during this difficult time.

udopt'r choice

Puffins are very social creatures and love to hang around in big groups, particularly in the winter when they live out at sea together. They are super athletic as they can fly and are also amazing swimmers. They have to be as they catch all of their food from the sea. They are very chatty animals, and are always nattering away with their friends and family.

Try our udopt'r to find your perfect match.

udopt it because

  • Puffin numbers are falling dramatically due to man made issues, not Mother Nature.
  • The puffin is one of the most iconic seabirds in the world, and if something isn’t done soon they could all disappear from the planet.
  • An ideal gift for a child who is interested in nature and ornithology.
  • It’s great as a last-minute gift as the gift certificate can be printed or emailed immediately following payment.
